Abortion Rights Amendment

In my opinion, one of the greatest issues today is that of Woman's Right to choose. Woman should have the same inalienable rights as all humans. They should be allowed to make their own decisions when it comes to abortion. They should not be told what is right and wrong when it comes to their bodies. Starting with Roe v. Wade, women have had their right to choose severely limited. Many states have gone as far as banning almost all forms of abortion. They force teenage girls to get parental approval and in some instances, they are required to view a sonogram of their baby before they are allowed to choose to get an abortion. This is not right and something that must be changed. Due to the many different laws and rulings, an Amendment to the Constitution is required to end this debate.

Text of Amendment:

We the people of these United States of America hereby declare that women have to right to choose to have an abortion. These rights will not be usurped by any state or local laws and they will be unencumbered by any regulations placed upon them by the states. Abortion will be allowed to be carried out by qualified medical officials as determined by the Department of Health. There will be no 3rd term abortions allowed, unless it is determined to be of medical necessity. This amendment will take effect immediately upon it's ratification by 2/3rds of the states.
